StormWaterOutreach.com launched in 2001 after the founder, Andy Willhoit, recognized that stormwater outreach campaigns had a need to supplement their efforts with relevant and tangible products capable of complimenting their message while helping individuals to adopt certain BMPs. Prior to it's launch, most campaigns were limited to incorporating traditional give-away items, like magnets, drink mugs and other cheap plastic trinkets, which offered no relevancy to their campaigns and sometimes spoke contrary to the efforts of waste reduction and recycling. Outreach campaigns all across the country, both large and small, have been using our products to engage, educate and equip community members to play an active role in preventing stormwater pollution. Every single product we offer has the goal of facilitating behavioral change by encouraging proper HHW disposal, used oil recycling, pesticide & household chemical reduction, waste reduction and clean boating practices.
